Strawberry Tree

Our friends at Strawberry Tree restaurant in the artisan quarter run a variety of delicious courses and tastings, from Tapas cookery to wine tastings, and mushroom foraging.  Book well in advance, as these courses have limited spots available.  Private group courses can be arranged as well.

Melanie from Molesworth & Bird leads afternoon seaweed foraging and pressing courses. Collect your specimens from the shoreline, and you'll come away with beautiful artwork.

Lyme Regis Museum

The historic Lyme Regis Museum, located in Mary Anning's home, leads fossil walks, as well as a variety of workshops, talks, and historical tours.  Book your fossil walk well in advance, as spots do fill up especially in the high season.

Marine Theatre

The Marine Theatre hosts a variety of events - music, comedy, drams, and talks.  If you want to get more involved, you can even participate in a monthly community reading.
